the terms tulpa and tulpamancy are a little bit confusing for people getting into it and discovering it on the internet... fact is, the label was just picked by people who thought it sounded cool. It's an aesthetic personally I think a more neutral term would get better traction and be less confusing, because I am convinced that lots more people have tulpas than actually know about the word tulpamancy... it's an effect that happens to a lot of people and that a lot of people independently discover

i would say it's more the word people should be concerned about since the word comes from buddhism but i think it's kinda too late to choose another one since everybody already uses "tulpa" so
